Our mission is to develop and implement innovative and effective ways to promote disaster awareness, individual preparedness, and the related technologies to improve the early warning emergency alert communication system across the provinces of Haiti.

Our Work
Innovate Haiti, Inc. (www.innovativehaiti.org) was founded by Haitian born Borgella Philogene. With an Engineering Technology background, he formed an engineering team which consists of: System Architect, Civil Engineer and Disaster Recovery Consultant to help in the development of the Disaster Recovery Relief Program (DRRP), which will develop and implement innovative and effective ways to promote disaster awareness, individual preparedness, and the related technologies to improve the early warning emergency alert communication system across the provinces of Haiti.

Innovate Haiti continues in its efforts in establishing dialogues between key Haitian government officials and other humanitarian agencies to evaluate the overwhelming reoccurrence flood disasters and loss of lives and property caused by hurricanes in Haiti. Innovate Haiti displays to the international community that investing into the Disaster Recovery Relief Programs today will help Haiti become more stabile and able to use her future resources for the development of her economy, health care, education and transportation. With all of these mechanisms in place, Haiti can then rebuild for a lasting future.

Haiti was the first black nation to obtain her independence from France in 1804. Haiti was the leader in the export of coffee, molasses, sugar, cotton, hides and so on, during her early years. Today, Haiti can't even provide enough food and other products to support its own population. For decades, over 50 percent of Haitians depended on charcoal for cooking, leading to widespread deforestation, increasing the risk of mudslides from the higher elevation areas. Also, Haiti lacks a true early warning system, which could have saved over 3,000 killed in hurricane disasters over the past year. The DRRP will help in the development of an evacuation process to aid people who reside within a major disastrous community to migrate to a safer territory, and also provide technologies and communicate ways to use other natural resources, which will decrease the loss of lives and property.

Innovate Haiti and its partners works diligently with other NGOs to bring all DRRPs to functional and effective plans. Key and Associates, PC, a superior audit and accounting consulting firm, prepares financial statements and reviews operations to improve financial management for all Innovate Haiti's projects. SNMP3 Security, LLC, an Enterprise Network Management consulting company, with its expertise in Internetwork Design and Engineering and 24/7/365 remote network management services, assists with the implementation of the early warning system. "Together we can improve the Nation of Haiti's capability to respond to natural disasters."
